Special Announcement

2010 BWN Annual Membership Dues:
In accordance to the BWN Bylaws, the membership renewal date for all current members will be January 2010.  Over the last couple of years, BWN has been allowing members to renew their annual membership at the anniversary of when they originally joined.  The current 2009-2010 BWN Board of Directors has recently reviewed the BWN Bylaws and put together a plan to help BWN get back in to compliance of the Bylaws that specifically states:  “Dues shall be payable in January for the calendar year. New members who pay dues after January shall have their dues prorated for that part of the year during which they are members.”  (Article V – Membership, #2)
So, if you are a current BWN member in good standing, it is that time of year again to begin planning to pay your BWN annual membership fee of $48.

Renewal payments will begin to be accepted online (sign in with the MEMBER LOGIN) in December 2009 or can be made manually by cash or check directly to Treasurer Jennifer Aguilar or mailed to BWN – P.O. Box 498, Pueblo, CO 81002.  For new BWN members that have recently joined in September or October 2009, your renewal payment will be prorated to $12.  New members that just joined in November 2009, your payment will automatically be directed towards your 2010 membership fee as well and you will not owe anything more.  The deadline for membership renewals has been set for January 15, 2010.  Please make arrangements to get your 2010 BWN annual membership fee paid within the next 2 months.

On behalf of the BWN Board of Directors, we thank you for your support and efforts in helping us plan for another success year for BWN! We are only as strong as our membership base and your participation. We look forward to you all joining BWN again in 2010!

Please feel free to contact:
Treasurer Jennifer Aguilar at 406-1478 or
President Caroline Parra at 549-3224.

If you would like a copy of the BWN Bylaws for your records,
please contact President Caroline Parra by phone or e-mail.
