Navy Volunteer Service Award
Lisa Acuna, BWN member and President-Elect, a Navy Reservist for the last 5 years, was awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal by the Department of the Navy.

Her award states that her "selfless efforts while serving as coordinator of the Fiesta Committee have had a tremendous impact toward improving the Colorado State Fair...Over the years, she has raised thousands of dollars for programs that benefit students age 12 - 22. Her commitment to community service exemplifies her strong devotion to duty and excellence. Congratulations on a job WELL DONE!" Signed C. H. Chris Wiseman, General Manager of the Colorado State Fair & Exposition, writes:
"I know Lisa best for her tireless work leading the Fiesta Committee as the Coordinator. It is safe to say that Lisa left this organization in a better position than before she became coordinator. HOME BUILDERS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

Pat Saulters, owner of Saulters Appraisal Service, was honored as Associate Member Volunteer of the Year by the Pueblo Association of Home Builders.

Pat served on the association board for 2 years and has contributed tremendously to the success of the merchandising and marketing excellence awards the association has received for 6 years.

She is on their Women's Council, has served on the Casino Night committee as well as several other committees.

She sponsored 34 NEW MEMBERS over her years with the Homebuilders as well as brought the BWN many members and we thank her for being such a FABULOUS LEADER in the community!
